An experienced accountant and financial services executive, Tim Salvesen holds both a bachelor of science and a master of science in accounting from Northern Illinois University. He has also completed inside utility accounting and financial reporting training on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations for utility companies. A licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in the State of Illinois, Tim Salvesen holds membership in the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society.

Currently, Tim Salvesen serves as vice president, corporate controller, and treasurer of GridLiance in Chicago. There, he oversees consultants and office staff in GridLiance’s finance and accounting group. In addition, he manages accounting records in accordance with the FERC and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the United States.

When not busy with his professional responsibilities, Mr. Salvesen keeps up with politics and works on home improvement projects. He also enjoys practicing sports with his son and his daughter and following Chicago’s professional teams.
